Mjølfjell Youth Hostel, Voss, Norge

Mjølfjell YH is situated close to the Bergen Railway, on the uppermost part of the Raundalen Valley. A modern thoroughfare from Voss will bring you to our front door, where the historic road, built to build the railway at the beginning of the last century, known as the 'Rallar'road begins. This road today is a picturesque mountain path, forming a spectacular gateway to the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, popular for both summer and winter activities.

Our 'own' railway station, Ørneberget', is only 300m away from the hostel. A ten minute train ride from here will take you to the Flåm Valley, one of Norway`s most popular tourist attractions.

Mjølfjell YH maintains a high standard, with total of 40 beds in rooms accommodating two to eight people. We produce our own electricity at our own power-station on the Raundal river. We have our own ski-tow in winter-time and a heated outdoor swimming-pool in summertime. Our riding school is an added attraction during school summer holidays.

Mjølfjell YH is ideal for holidays all year round, weekend leisure, hunting and fishing.
